Uncle Lee's Tea Gunpowder Green Tea Bulk 5.29 oz. details:
Suggested Use
The fresh water used to make this tea should not be boiling but should be about 160 to 180 degrees F or 90 to 100 degrees C. Use about one teaspoon of tea for every 8 ounces (150 ml) of water. Steeping time should be anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes depending on desired strength and quantity of tea. As a rough guide, the higher the temperature of the water or the greater the amount of leaves used, the shorter the steeping time should be. When preparing this tea, the leaves can be used multiple times, until the flavor of the tea is exhausted. The use of a covered glass or ceramic cup is sometimes recommended for steeping in order to appreciate the tea leaves. A stainless steel "tea ball" is also recommended for steeping the tea. Each canister of Uncle Lee's Gunpowder Green Tea will yield approximately 50 to 75 servings.
