CONJUGATED LINOLEIC ACID (CLA) CLA is a form of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid found naturally in food sources primarily of animal origin. Human studies have shown that CLA affects fatty acid metabolism and may reduce the proportion of body fat. Animal studies suggest that CLA affects glycemic control, thus having a favorable effect on weight management.

MEDIUM CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES (MCTs) A review of the scientific literature on MCTs suggests that these readily absorbed fatty acids increase energy expenditure, may lead to more rapid satiety (feeling full) and facilitate weight control when substituted for long-chain fatty acids (which are more dense in calories).
