In part, the explanation for these effects has been that the plants contain minerals essential for tissue healing, such as silica. Alfalfa leaf contains phytoestrogens and is also nutrient dense. It provides hormonal and nutritional support for the skin. Alfalfa appreciates wide use as a skin and hair tonic.*
Gotu Kola leaf & Root have long been used to support the health of skin, hair, and nails in Asia. Numerous clinical trials have shown that Gotu Kola indeed has numerous beneficial dermatologic effects.
